Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang to Visit Pakistan Next Month

Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang is set to visit Pakistan next month, with discussions expected to focus on economic cooperation and development projects between the two countries.

According to diplomatic sources, the Chinese premier will arrive in April and hold meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, and senior military officials. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and review progress on ongoing initiatives, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

During the visit, both sides are expected to sign agreements related to infrastructure, trade, and investment. Talks will also cover the ML-1 railway project and other major ventures under CPEC.

Li Qiang last visited Pakistan in October 2024 for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting in Islamabad. His upcoming visit is expected to reinforce Pakistan-China cooperation and advance shared economic goals.
