NEPRA is scheduled to hold a hearing on the IPPs’ request on March 24, 2025. The review will consider the methodology for the exchange rate difference between the Pakistani Rupee and the US Dollar. Additionally, the payment procedures under the Take-and-Pay system will also be evaluated.

This move comes as the IPPs seek to adjust their tariffs in light of changing economic conditions and operational costs.
