Pakistan’s tallest man, Nasir Soomro, passed away on Monday after a long battle with respiratory and joint-related illnesses, his family confirmed.
The 55-year-old had been struggling with severe health issues for years and was frequently hospitalized, according to his brother.
Standing at 7 feet 9 inches, Soomro was a resident of Shikarpur. Despite gaining international recognition for his remarkable height, he faced prolonged neglect and financial hardships.
During his lifetime, he had the opportunity to visit several countries, including the United States, as a distinguished representative of Pakistan.
