Annual exam papers for various subjects were leaked before the commencement of exams in several districts of Sindh, including Larkana, Khairpur, Dherki, and Ghotki, 24 HD News Channel reported on Tuesday.
In Larkana, the ninth-grade Sindhi language paper—conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Larkana—was leaked before the exam. A WhatsApp group was reportedly created to share answers and facilitate cheating.
Similarly, in Khairpur, the tenth-grade chemistry paper was leaked before the start of the exam, with reports indicating the leak occurred at 8:57 am. Students were allegedly using WhatsApp groups to exchange answers.
Instances of academic misconduct were also reported from examination centers. In some cases, teachers were said to have allowed both male and female students to use mobile phones inside the exam halls.
In Dherki, examination staff were reportedly found assisting students in solving the tenth-grade chemistry paper. Cheating was said to be taking place openly at Shah Latif Examination Hall.
Ghotki also witnessed a leak of the tenth-grade chemistry paper before the exam’s official start time.
These incidents raise serious concerns about exam security and the integrity of the education system in the region.
