The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Samba Bank Limited (PSX: SBL) Ahmad Tariq Azam has resigned from his role at the bank.
“It is hereby notified that the Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Ahmad Tariq Azam, President & Chief Executive Officer of Samba Bank Limited (SBL) effective from April 27, 2025. His last day at the bank will be May 21, 2025,” the bank said in a stock filing on Monday.
The Bank is a subsidiary of the Saudi National Bank of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Samba Financial Group was merged into National Commercial Bank, KSA, and the new entity was renamed as Saudi National Bank (“SNB”).
