Weather Department Gives Good News for Sindh

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast light rainfall in parts of Sindh from May 2 to May 3, with a western weather system expected to impact the region.

According to the PMD, the system will pass through upper Pakistan between May 1 and May 5, bringing rain to the northern areas and scattered showers to some parts of Sindh early next month.

Despite the rain forecast, hot and humid weather is likely to continue in Karachi over the next 48 hours. Strong winds are also expected in the city, prompting the Met Office to urge residents to avoid direct sunlight, especially during peak afternoon hours, and to stay well hydrated.
