Pakistan’s military response to India’s recent unprovoked attacks has been officially named “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” by Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, symbolizing a powerful message of unity and resilience.
The name, drawn from a verse in the Holy Quran, translates to “a wall built of molten lead”, reflecting the ideals of strength, unbreakable resolve, and national solidarity.
The military operation was launched after Pakistan reported that India had fired missiles at three of its airbases in the early hours of Saturday—one of which was near Islamabad. Pakistan’s air defense systems successfully intercepted most of the incoming missiles, preventing greater destruction.
In direct response, the Pakistan Army launched a series of targeted missile strikes on multiple Indian military installations, marking a significant escalation in the regional conflict. Officials confirmed that the operation also served as a tribute to the innocent children who lost their lives due to India’s missile attacks.
The name “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” carries deep symbolic weight, underscoring Pakistan’s message that any act of aggression will be met with firm and calculated military resolve. The operation highlights the country’s commitment to defending its sovereignty while honoring those affected by cross-border hostilities.
