PIA Restores Flights to Gulf Countries

A total of 55 flights faced delays at various airports across the country, including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

In Karachi, eight flights scheduled to depart for Jeddah, Doha, and Istanbul were cancelled. Additionally, two Dubai-bound flights operated by foreign airlines were also cancelled from Karachi.

From Lahore, five flights headed to Sharjah, Muscat, and Riyadh were cancelled. Inbound and outbound disruptions continued as five more flights from Sharjah to Peshawar, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi were also called off.

A PIA flight from Lahore to Madinah experienced a delay of 13 hours, while another flight from Lahore to Dammam was also delayed.

Meanwhile, in Islamabad, a PIA flight to Dubai was delayed by 15 hours, and two incoming flights from Bahrain to Islamabad faced delays of over four hours each.

Travelers are advised to check with their airlines for updated schedules and plan accordingly.
