Federal Defense Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif Friday announced that PIA investment Ltd last evening received in its account a sum of $11 million as a result of a long pending Arbitration Award.
In a post on X, the minister said that the in compliance with the Arbitration Award rendered in its favor 13 years back, PIA investment Ltd has received $11 million.
The minister highlighted that it took 28 years for the arbitration and the implementation of arbitration award.
However, he didn’t disclose any further details regarding the nature of the arbitration.
