The Islamabad High Court has suspended the operation of a previous judgment against TRG Pakistan Limited (PSX: TRG) in Writ Petition No. 2337 of 2025, following the filing of an Intra-Court Appeal.
The petition had been filed by a minority shareholder holding 55,000 shares (0.01 percent of the company), seeking court intervention to initiate board elections.
In a stock filing submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday, the company confirmed that it received the certified copy of the interim order on July 12, 2025. The court has issued notices in the matter and will hold further hearings at a later date.
This development follows TRG’s earlier disclosure on July 4 regarding the original ruling in the same writ petition.
TRG raised concerns over what it described as “shortcomings and irregularities” in the earlier ruling and filed an Intra-Court Appeal before the Islamabad High Court to challenge the order.
The order is now suspended. TRG added that the suspension of the impugned judgment will remain in effect until the next hearing.
