Pakistan’s annual inflation clocked in at 4.1 percent on a year-on-year basis in July 2025 as compared to 3.2 percent in the previous month and 11.1 percent in July 2024, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
On month-on-month basis, it increased by 2.9 percent in July 2025 as compared to an increase of 0.2 percent in the previous month and an increase of 2.1 percent in July 2024.
CPI inflation Urban, increased to 4.4 percent on year-on-year basis in July 2025 as compared to 3.0 percent of the previous month and 13.2 percent in July 2024. On month-on-month basis, it increased by 3.4 percent in July 2025 as compared to 0.1 percent in the previous month and an increase of 2.0 percent in July 2024.
CPI inflation Rural, increased by 3.5 percent on year-on-year basis in July 2025 as compared to an increase of 3.6 percent in the previous month and 8.1 percent in July 2024. On month-on-month basis, it increased by 2.2 percent in July 2025 as compared to an increase of 0.5 percent in the previous month and an increase of 2.2 percent in July 2024.
SPI inflation on YoY basis decreased by 0.9 percent in July 2025 as compared to a decrease of 1.9 percent a month earlier and an increase of 15.7 percent in July 2024. On MoM basis, it increased to 3.1 percent in July 2025 as compared to no change in a month earlier and an increase of 2.0 percent in July 2024.
WPI inflation on YoY basis decreased by 0.5 percent in July 2025 as compared to an increase of 0.6 percent in the previous month and 10.4 percent in July 2024. On month-on-month basis, it increased to 1.2 percent in July 2025 as compared to 0.6 percent in the previous month and an increase of 2.3 percent in July 2024.
