FBR to Restructure PRAL into New Digital Tax Entity Without Service Disruption

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will restructure Pakistan Revenue Automation (Pvt.) Limited (PRAL) into a new, state-of-the-art organization as part of its digital transformation strategy.

Faisal Nadeem, Company secretary, said the revamped entity will have greater financial autonomy, advanced technological capabilities, and enhanced functionality to deliver improved services for taxpayers and FBR operations.

FBR confirmed that PRAL will continue its services without any interruption during the transition, with all existing systems, support, and functions remaining fully operational. The shift will be gradual and coordinated to ensure stability for employees, users, and customers.
