The Pakistani rupee continued its upward trajectory against the US dollar, appreciating by 0.01% in the inter-bank market on Monday. At the close of trading, the rupee settled at 281.75, marking a modest gain of Rs. 0.02 against the greenback.
This marks the rupee’s 17th consecutive session of gains, reflecting sustained positive momentum in the currency market.
During the previous week, the rupee maintained its winning streak, appreciating by Rs. 0.13 or 0.05% against the US dollar in the inter-bank market.
The local currency closed at 281.77 on Friday, compared to 281.90 at the end of the prior week, according to data from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
