Minor Offences – Fine: AED 100

  • Eating, drinking, or chewing gum on trains (allowed only in stations).
  • Sitting in the wrong section, such as men in the women-and-children cabin or standard ticket holders in Gold Class.
  • Placing feet on seats, which soils or damages them.
  • Entering restricted or non-passenger areas within stations or trains.
  • Using Metro parking without a valid NOL card (only cardholders are eligible).
  • Causing disturbances to staff or fellow commuters.
  • Carrying items that inconvenience others (bulky or disruptive objects).
  • Bringing animals, except guide dogs for the visually impaired.
  • Misusing lifts or escalators in stations.
