The Punjab government has approved the recruitment of 25,000 School Teacher Interns (STIs) under its internship programme, the provincial education minister confirmed on Tuesday.
According to the minister’s statement, 12,500 interns who have already been recruited will continue their assignments. In addition, another 12,500 candidates will be hired soon for internships lasting either seven or nine months. The announcement noted that advertisements and further details for the new round of recruitment will be issued shortly. Applicants were advised to prepare in advance.
The minister also assured that the hiring process would remain transparent, with each district receiving its designated quota to ensure equal opportunity across the province.
