A tragic incident occurred in Peshawar’s Chamkani area, where a man allegedly shot and killed his wife and two daughters before taking his own life.
According to police reports, the suspect, identified as Fazal Haider, opened fire on his family inside their home, resulting in the deaths of his wife and two young daughters. After the killings, he reportedly turned the weapon on himself.
Authorities stated that Fazal Haider was employed at the Nowshera Dry Port. The motive behind the murder-suicide has not yet been determined.
Police have taken the bodies into custody and launched a detailed investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the tragedy.
In another tragic murder-suicide, a 20-year-old man from Kahuta allegedly shot a 25-year-old woman from Gujar Khan before killing himself inside a restaurant in Islamabad.
According to police, the two had arrived with another man and woman—reportedly their coworkers—but the companions left after a heated argument broke out between the couple. Shortly after, the restaurant owner heard gunshots and found the pair lying in a pool of blood, with the door locked from the inside.
Rescue teams reached the scene, but the woman died on the way to the hospital. A pistol was found near the deceased man. Police have registered a murder case against the suspect and launched an investigation to determine the motive.
