An Australian police officer has set a new Guinness World Record by performing 733 pull-ups in one hour, surpassing the previous record by eight.
Jade Henderson, 32, achieved the remarkable feat through sheer strength and endurance, breaking the earlier record of 725 pull-ups, set in 2016 by fellow Australian Eva Clarke. That record had remained unbeaten for nearly ten years.
Henderson, who serves in the Australian police force, said she took on the challenge to test both her physical and mental limits. Originally, she had planned to go for the 24-hour pull-up record — currently held by another Australian, Olivia Vinson, with a total of 7,079 pull-ups.
However, a bicep injury during training forced her to reconsider. After taking about six weeks off to recover, Henderson decided to focus on the one-hour attempt instead, reducing the risk of aggravating her injury.
Her successful record attempt has since gained international recognition, with many applauding her determination, discipline, and resilience in achieving the world record.
