The Sindh Healthcare Commission has reduced the prices of dengue, malaria, and CBC tests in an effort to provide relief to patients amid a rise in vector-borne infections. The revised rates will remain in force from October 21, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

Under the new tariff:
- Malaria test price reduced from Rs 3,050 to Rs 600
- Dengue NS1 test cut from Rs 4,550 to Rs 1,100
- Dengue IgM test fixed at Rs 1,500
- CBC test lowered from Rs 1,250 to Rs 500
According to the commission, the decision aims to make diagnostic testing more accessible for dengue patients, as cases of both dengue and malaria continue to climb in the province.
The Sindh Healthcare Commission’s Chief Executive Officer said the reduction was made in view of the surge in reported infections and the financial pressure on households seeking testing.
