Russia Announces Fully Funded Scholarships for Pakistani Students

The Russian Government Scholarship offers Pakistani students the chance to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degrees at Russian universities. The scholarship covers tuition and provides a monthly stipend, but does not cover travel or daily living expenses.

• Pakistani nationality
• Applying for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program

Step-by-Step Application Process

A. Register Online

• Go to https://www.education-in-russia.com
• Create an account and fill in your personal details.

B. Choose Your Program and Universities

• Select your field of study/specialty and level of education (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
• Choose up to 6 Russian universities (ranked by your priority).

Note: Once submitted, you cannot change your field or university choices.

C. Prepare and Upload Required Documents

For Bachelor’s Applicants:

• Passport
• Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or Cambridge A Level/DAE
• 10th and 12th class mark sheets
• Consent to process personal data (download, sign, upload)
• Application form (download, sign, upload)
• If graduating in 2026: 10th & 11th results + school letter confirming 12th class enrollment and expected graduation

For Master’s Applicants:

• Passport
• Bachelor’s degree and full transcript
• Consent to process personal data (download, sign, upload)
• Application form (download, sign, upload)
• If graduating in 2026: All available mark sheets + university letter confirming final year status

For PhD Applicants:

• Passport
• Master’s degree and full transcript
• Research paper and list of scientific publications
• Recommendation letter from the Russian university you wish to join
• Consent to process personal data (download, sign, upload)
• Application form (download, sign, upload)

D. Submit Your Application

• Upload all required documents to the portal.
• Ensure your application status is not marked as “Draft.” Only submitted applications will be considered.
• You may only apply for one field of study/specialty per education level.

Selection Process

• Document and Qualification Review: Academic records and qualifications are assessed.
• Portfolio Competition: Research articles, awards, Olympiad wins, and sports achievements are considered.
• Creative Test: For fields requiring creative or physical abilities.

If Selected: Additional Documents Required

If you pass the first selection stage, you must upload the following by January 15, 2026:

• Fitness certificate
• Certificate of absence of AIDS/HIV
• Certificate of absence of hepatitis B, C, and tuberculosis
• Certified Russian translations of all documents (attested by the Russian consulate)

Important Reminders

• The Russian House in Karachi is the only authorized body for nominations in Pakistan.
• All applications must be submitted through the official portal.
• Incomplete or draft applications will not be considered.
