Police in Sargodha have arrested two students of a private school, allegedly involved in sexually assaulting multiple classmates and recording videos of the incidents to blackmail them.
According to police reports, the suspects allegedly gang-raped a fellow student at gunpoint and filmed the assault. When the victim refused to comply with further exploitation, the accused shared the video online.
Following a complaint posted on social media by the mother of one survivor, the Regional Police Officer (RPO) took notice, leading to the arrest of two suspects by the Satellite Town police.
Investigators recovered several obscene videos from the suspects’ possession, reportedly involving over a dozen students. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
Police sources said the private school administration initially tried to suppress the matter. However, the mother of one survivor—whose husband works in Muscat—persisted after police initially refused to register her complaint. She told reporters that her son had become withdrawn and refused to attend school, eventually revealing the reason for his distress.
