What was initially reported as a gas cylinder explosion outside the G-11 district courts complex in Islamabad has now been confirmed by PTV News as a suicide attack.
According to officials, 12 people have been killed and 21 people injured in the blast, which occurred near the entrance of the judicial complex. The area houses multiple lower courts and offices frequented daily by lawyers, litigants, and security personnel.

Following the explosion, security across the federal capital has been heightened, and investigations are underway to determine the identity of the attacker and possible links to extremist networks.
Emergency response teams have shifted the injured to nearby hospitals as authorities assess the extent of the damage.
