You Can Now Get Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates at Home Via NADRA Mobile Application

Residents across Punjab can now record major life events at their local Union Councils and receive the corresponding certificates directly through NADRA’s Pak-ID mobile application, allowing them to complete documentation from home.

This development follows a new agreement between the Punjab Department of Local Government and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). Under the partnership, citizens will be able to register births, deaths, marriages, and other vital events at their respective Union Councils. At the same time, the required certificates will be accessible through the Pak-ID app.

Punjab Local Government Secretary Mian Shakeel Ahmed and NADRA Lahore Regional DG Fizza Shahid formally signed the agreement.

In other news, NADRA has introduced revised working hours for its centres across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the 2025 winter season. The new schedule came into effect on November 19, officials confirmed.

According to NADRA’s notification:

  • Regional and zonal offices operating five days a week will function from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Registration centres following a five-day schedule will observe a single shift from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

NADRA has also reminded parents to update their children’s B-Forms on time. The authority stated that once a child turns three years old, the previously issued B-Form is no longer valid and must be replaced with a photo B-Form for school admissions and other official requirements.

Parents can apply for the updated B-Form either by visiting a nearby NADRA centre with their child or by using the Pak-ID mobile app, enabling them to complete the process from home.
