Although the Huawei Mate 80 series is still fresh on the market, rumors are already circulating about Huawei’s next big release, the Nova 15 series. According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the lineup will include three models: the Huawei Nova 15, Nova 15 Pro, and Nova 15 Ultra. These devices are expected to bring significant upgrades in terms of display, camera, and performance.
The Huawei Nova 15 is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch display, while the Nova 15 Pro will feature a slightly larger 6.84-inch screen. Both devices are expected to use 1.5K LTPO OLED displays, offering vibrant colors and smooth refresh rates.
The Nova 15 Pro may also include a dual front-camera setup, featuring 50MP and 8MP sensors. The standard Nova 15 is likely to stick with a 50MP single front camera.
On the rear, the Nova 15 Pro is said to include a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide lens. Huawei is expected to include its multispectral sensor to improve color accuracy and low-light performance, a feature that has been a staple in Huawei’s recent devices.
Both models are tipped to be powered by new Kirin 8-series chips, promising a significant performance boost.
The Nova 15 Ultra will reportedly be the flagship of the series, featuring a more powerful Kirin 9-series chip and a 1/1.3-inch 50MP main sensor. While details on other cameras are scarce, it’s expected to include a periscope telephoto lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a multispectral sensor for enhanced imaging.
The Nova 15 Ultra is also expected to feature a battery that exceeds 6,000mAh, just like the Nova 15 and Nova 15 Pro models.
The Huawei Nova 15 series is rumored to launch ahead of China’s Spring Festival in early 2026, which typically falls in February. This timeline suggests that the devices could be unveiled in the coming months, with global availability following soon after.
