The Sindh High Court (SHC) has announced the schedule for winter vacations, confirming that all its benches and circuit courts will remain closed from December 26 to January 9.
According to the notification, only urgent and important cases will be heard during the holidays. The court’s working hours from Monday to Thursday will be 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, while on Fridays, proceedings will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The notification further states that court staff may avail four days of leave between December 26 and January 3, subject to their workload and administrative requirements.
Officials said the adjusted schedule ensures essential judicial functioning while allowing staff to observe the winter break.
