Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday, mirroring losses in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 1,900 to settle at Rs. 441,862, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold declined by Rs. 1,629, with the new rate standing at Rs. 378,825.
On Monday, gold prices had risen, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs. 1,600 to reach Rs. 443,762.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a decrease, with the rate falling by $19 to reach $4,195 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs. 6,102 per tola.
