The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a public warning about a fake recruitment campaign falsely offering jobs in Saudi Arabia.
According to the ministry, an advertisement circulating in newspapers and on social media under the name “Khuddam al-Hujjaj” is completely fraudulent and uses an incorrect registration number of the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE).
The false ad, published on December 8, claimed to provide two-year employment opportunities in Makkah and Madinah for assisting Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
It also promised free visas, return tickets, and accommodation. The ministry shared a copy of the bogus notice, issued under a similar name, “Khadmeen Hajj,” to alert the public to the scam.
Officials urged citizens to verify company credentials through government websites and avoid responding to mobile numbers listed in such advertisements, stressing that only official landline contacts should be used.
The ministry added that law enforcement agencies have been notified, and action is underway against those responsible for publishing the deceptive advertisement.
