The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced an additional increase of Rs 50 million in financial assistance for the families of martyrs.
According to Geo News, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohaib Afridi met with the families of security forces personnel who were martyred in the Pakistan-India war.
On the occasion, the chief minister announced that the financial assistance for the families of martyrs has been increased from Rs5 million to Rs10 million, while compensation for injured personnel has been raised from Rs1 million to Rs2.5 million.
Sohaib Afridi said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of martyrs. “Our martyrs are our pride, and the government will take full care of their families,” he stated.
He further said that the sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are a guarantee of the country’s security and stability.
