Ghandhara Tyre and Rubber Company Limited has announced it will temporarily halt plant operations on Monday, January 12, 2026, due to a reduced gas supply from the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).
In a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company said the decline in gas availability, caused by depletion and low pressure in the SSGC system, has made it challenging to maintain normal manufacturing activities.
Despite the suspension, Ghandhara Tyre stated it does not anticipate any negative impact on sales.
The company confirmed that all regional offices will remain operational and tyre deliveries to customers will continue via its existing distribution and sales networks.
