Islamabad-based fintech SadaPay has appointed serial entrepreneur Nadeem Hussain as strategic advisor.
“Nadeem Hussain is joining us as a strategic advisor!” the fintech posted on LinkedIn earlier today.
SadaPay said Nadeem will be responsible for strategy, where to play, and how to win. He will help the company devise partnerships across the exosystem and recommend key decision-making steps related to risk and governance as it scales.
Nadeem Hussain is credited with helping bring millions of unbanked Pakistanis into the formal financial system through mobile financial services.
He is also the founder of Tameer Microfinance Bank (later part of Telenor Microfinance Bank), one of Pakistan’s first major microfinance institutions focused on the underbanked and rural populations.
The bank introduced EasyPaisa, which became one of the world’s largest branchless/mobile banking platforms.
Nadeem is also the founder of Planet N Group, an investment platform supporting technology startups and ventures in fintech, e-commerce, healthcare tech, and more, with a focus on emerging markets.
