Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Thursday in line with a decline in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 800 to settle at Rs. 505,562.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs. 686 to Rs. 433,437, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold had surged, with the per tola rate jumping by Rs. 12,700 to Rs. 506,362.
In the international market, gold prices slipped by $8 to $4,832 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market also declined, with the per tola rate falling by Rs. 30 to Rs. 9,903.
