Punjab Introduces New Facility for Tourists in Murree

The Punjab government has introduced a new facility to enhance safety and convenience for tourists in Murree, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced on her X account.

The facility provides functional phone charging stations along with emergency and panic buttons, allowing visitors to access help quickly when needed. Maryam Nawaz highlighted that tourists can now benefit from these services while visiting the hill station.

Earlier this month, on the directions of the Chief Minister, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) launched a similar emergency mobile phone charging service in Lahore.

The initiative combines multiple features at a single location, including a panic button, CM Free Wi-Fi, and free emergency phone charging, aiming to assist citizens during urgent situations. A PSCA spokesperson said the service is being expanded across 100 locations in Lahore to strengthen safety zones.

The Chief Minister emphasized that these measures are part of ongoing efforts to improve public safety and provide essential support to both residents and visitors in Punjab’s urban and tourist areas.
