Pakistan Railway Suspends Train Services in Quetta

Pakistan Railways on Saturday has suspended all train services operating from Quetta, both within Balochistan and to other parts of the country.

According to railway officials, the suspension affects major routes including the Jaffer Express to Punjab, the Bolan Mail to Karachi, the Chaman Passenger train, and services on the Zahedan section. Passengers booked on these trains have been informed that their tickets will be refunded.

Meanwhile, the Jaffer Express traveling from Peshawar to Quetta was stopped at Jacobabad Station in Sindh after it failed to receive security clearance. More than 400 passengers on board were sent back, forcing many to arrange alternative transportation at significantly higher costs.
