Chery Master Pakistan has announced that the Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV will officially launch in Pakistan this month. In a Facebook announcement, the company said the vehicle will launch on February 13.
The Tiggo 9 was first announced for Pakistan last year, when Chery Master Pakistan also opened pre-booking registrations for interested customers. However, the upcoming event will mark the model’s formal market launch, with full pricing details to be disclosed for the first time.
According to the company, the Tiggo 9 will be introduced as a flagship E-segment SUV. The vehicle features a plug-in hybrid powertrain with a combined output of 610 horsepower and 920 Nm of torque. It offers a claimed pure electric driving range of up to 170 kilometers, while the combined driving range is stated to extend to around 1,400 kilometers.
The SUV is equipped with a 34.46 kWh battery and includes Level 2 Plus advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Chery Master Pakistan has also confirmed features such as autonomous parking and front-row massage seats.
Further specifications, variant details, and availability are expected to be shared at the launch event. The announcement comes amid growing interest in hybrid and electric vehicles in Pakistan, particularly in the premium SUV segment.
