Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, in line with gains in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola reached Rs. 526,262 after rising by Rs. 1,500 during the day, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 451,184, up Rs. 1,286. On Monday, gold had closed at Rs. 524,762 per tola following a gain of Rs. 5,300.
In the international market, gold prices also edged higher, gaining $15 to reach $5,035 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged at Rs. 8,615 per tola.
