Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to undertake a multi-country foreign visit later this month, official sources told ProPakistani.
Meanwhile, a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Donald Trump is expected on February 20. The two leaders are likely to discuss regional and global developments, including the situation in Gaza, as well as matters of mutual interest concerning Pakistan–US relations.
Before going to US, the prime minister is expected to visit Austria on February 14 or 15. During his stay, he is likely to hold meetings with the Austrian leadership and engage in discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
Following his engagements in Austria, Prime Minister Shehbaz will travel to London for a one-day private visit, sources said. From London, the prime minister is scheduled to leave for Washington on February 18 to attend the Gaza Peace Board meeting at the invitation of the US President.
During his visit to Washington, the prime minister will also hold meetings with other world leaders on the sidelines of the conference.
The upcoming visit is being viewed as an important diplomatic engagement as Pakistan seeks to play a constructive role in international peace efforts while strengthening ties with key global partners.
