Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S26 Ultra as its latest flagship smartphone, bringing the industry’s first privacy screen baked into the display hardware. This allows you to hide the entire screen, or specific parts such as notifications or passwords.
Other than that, we mostly have software improvements and AI upgrades instead of hardware changes, just like the base Galaxy S26 and S26+. Pakistani prices for each memory variant are given below.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 3120 × 1440 resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The panel is based on Samsung’s latest OLED materials to improve brightness and energy efficiency. Gorilla Glass Armor 2 protects the front.
A key addition is the Privacy Display feature. This technology narrows the viewing angles to reduce screen visibility from the sides, helping protect sensitive information in public spaces. Users can activate or deactivate the feature through system settings. Samsung’s Flex Magic Pixel technology further enhances this screen privacy function.
The device carries refined curves and a slimmer profile compared to its predecessor. The device is available in multiple color options, including Black, White, Blue, and Purple.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset in supported markets. It is paired with LPDDR5X RAM starting at 12GB, with higher variants offering up to 16GB. Storage options extend up to 1TB and use UFS 4.1 technology.
The phone ships with Android 16 and One UI 8.5. Samsung expands Galaxy AI across the system, integrating multiple assistants, including Bixby, Gemini, and Perplexity AI. AI features include real-time call translation, writing assistance, smart summaries, advanced photo editing tools, object removal, contextual suggestions, and improved voice commands.
Several AI functions operate directly on the device to improve speed and maintain user privacy. Samsung also commits to up to seven years of operating system and security updates.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra features a quad-camera setup led by a 200MP primary sensor. The system also includes a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom. A 12MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
AI-driven image processing enhances low-light photography, portrait effects, and video stabilization. The device also includes computational photography improvements for sharper detail and better dynamic range.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra includes a 5,000 mAh battery, the same as several previous generations. However, the wired charging has been upgraded to 60W wired fast charging, along with wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
