The Government of Sindh has announced a two-day public holiday for Hindu employees across the province on the occasion of Holi.
According to an official notification issued by the provincial government, Hindu government employees will observe holidays on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 3 and 4. The leave will apply to all provincial departments, offices and institutions operating under the Sindh government.
The notification states that the holidays are being granted to facilitate Hindu employees in celebrating Holi, one of the most significant religious festivals in the Hindu calendar. The decision will allow employees belonging to the Hindu community to participate in religious rituals and traditional festivities.
The order applies province-wide and covers all eligible Hindu employees serving in government departments under the administrative control of the Sindh government.
