ViewSonic has introduced the VA27G11-2, a 27-inch IPS monitor designed for gaming and everyday use. The display carries a price tag of $84, making it perhaps one of the cheapest gaming monitors in this class.

The VA27G11-2 features a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 178-degree viewing angles. It offers a native 144Hz refresh rate, which can be overclocked to 175Hz for smoother motion in fast-paced content.

The monitor delivers a 1ms MPRT response time and a 5ms gray-to-gray response time. It provides a typical brightness of 350 nits and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. According to ViewSonic, the panel covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut and supports 16.7 million colors. The display uses an 8-bit color depth based on a 6-bit plus FRC structure.
