Major Pakistani Airport Gets 5G Services

The Pakistan Airports Authority has announced that Islamabad International Airport has become the first airport in Pakistan where 5G services are available.

A PAA spokesperson said passengers will now be able to access high-speed internet at the airport, supporting services such as video calls, streaming, and browsing.

The authority said 5G connectivity is currently active outside the airport building and in surrounding areas, while technical work is underway to extend coverage inside the terminal building.

The PAA added that the facility will be introduced at other major airports across the country as part of efforts to modernize aviation infrastructure.
