Motorola Moto G37 Still Has an Audio Jack, SD Card Slot, And Military Standard Durability

Motorola has introduced the Moto G37 as the most affordable model in its latest Moto G lineup. The device launched alongside the Moto G87 and is positioned as a budget 5G phone with a high refresh rate screen, a large battery, and added durability features.

Design And Display

The Motorola Moto G37 features a 6.67-inch LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

For audio, Motorola has included stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning, wired Hi-Res Audio support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone measures 166.23 x 76.50 x 7.85mm and weighs 191g. It also carries IP64 splash resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification for added durability. The Motorola Moto G37 is available in three Pantone colors: Grey, Blue, and Maroon; however, the official names of the colors haven’t been disclosed.

Internals And Software

The Moto G37 is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with octa-core speeds of up to 2.4GHz. It is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM.

Motorola also advertises up to 12GB total memory through RAM Boost, which adds up to 8GB of virtual RAM from internal storage.

Storage options include 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone also supports microSD expansion up to 1TB. It runs Android 16 with Hello UX, Moto Secure, Gemini, and Circle to Search.

Cameras

Motorola has revised the camera setup on the Moto G37. The rear camera uses a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and quad-pixel binning that produces 12.5MP images. The rear module also includes a 2-in-1 ambient and flicker light sensor.

There is no ultra-wide camera on this model. For selfies, the phone uses an 8MP fixed-focus front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Both front and rear cameras support video recording at up to 2K resolution at 30fps.

Battery And Pricing

The Moto G37 packs a 5,200mAh typical battery, while the minimum rated capacity is listed at 5,100mAh for EU energy labeling.

Motorola has not announced wider availability or pricing details.
