Pakistan recorded its second warmest year in the past 65 years in 2025, according to the Pakistan Economic Survey released today.
The survey showed that the country’s national annual mean temperature stood at 23.9°C during the year.
The report also showed that rainfall in 2025 remained 3 percent below the average.
The figures indicate that Pakistan faced higher-than-usual temperatures during the year, along with slightly lower rainfall at the national level.
According to the Economic Survey, 2025 ranked as Pakistan’s second warmest year in the last 65 years.
