The Islamabad district administration has announced strict action against individuals found responsible for dengue larvae breeding, warning that cases will be registered against violators.
According to a public advisory, dengue larvae discovered in homes, offices, shops or commercial premises will result in the registration of a first information report (FIR) and legal action against those responsible.
The administration said immediate arrests may be made in such cases and directed assistant commissioners to take action without discrimination.
Officials reiterated a zero-tolerance policy toward dengue larvae breeding and urged residents to eliminate stagnant water, cover water storage containers, properly dispose of waste and keep their surroundings clean.
The district administration also advised citizens to follow dengue prevention measures to help curb the spread of the mosquito-borne disease and protect public health.
