The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a show-cause notice to Ittefaq Residensia, a private housing scheme in Islamabad’s Zone-IV, over alleged illegal development without approval of its layout plan and mandatory NOC.
The authority said the scheme was involved in unauthorized development and marketing of plots, directing it to immediately halt all activities. CDA also ordered removal of illegal structures within seven days.
It warned of demolition, sealing of offices, and enforcement action if the directives are not complied with. The housing scheme has been given seven days to respond and appear for a hearing.
The CDA reiterated that no housing project can operate in Islamabad without prior approval, citing court rulings that support strict enforcement against illegal developments.
