CDA Starts Handing Over Plots to Thousands of Buyers in 3 New Sectors

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has directed the initiation of the plot possession process in Islamabad’s E-12, C-14, and I-12 sectors after development work was completed in several areas.

The move is expected to provide long-awaited relief to thousands of allottees who have been waiting for possession of their plots.

According to an official memorandum issued by CDA’s Sector Development Division-II on June 16, 2026, several plots in Sector E-12 are now ready for possession following the completion of development work. The memorandum added that a number of plots in Sectors C-14 and I-12 are also ready for handover, and lists of the eligible plots have been forwarded to the Directors of Estate Management-I and Estate Management-II for further action.

The memorandum noted that allottees from the three sectors have repeatedly approached the CDA seeking possession of their plots. In response, the relevant departments have been instructed to complete all necessary formalities and expedite the handover process.

The possession process is expected to be carried out in phases as development work is completed in different areas. Officials believe the move will provide significant relief to affected allottees while encouraging construction activity across the three sectors.
