The browser can now fill in information used for tasks such as flight check-ins and parking payments. Google has also expanded Chrome’s integration with Google Wallet across mobile devices and desktop computers.
Chrome can now complete fields containing flight details and vehicle information, including licence plate numbers and vehicle identification numbers.
The browser can also use information stored in Google Wallet, including passport details, driver’s licence information, and Known Traveler Numbers.
Users who have not already saved these details in Google Wallet can add them when entering the information in Chrome for the first time.
Google says Chrome will only save or fill personal information after receiving the user’s permission.
Sensitive information is encrypted.
Users can manage or update their saved information through Google Wallet settings or the Autofill and passwords section in Chrome’s settings.
