Over 150,000 Register for Hajj 2027 Through Pakistan’s New Digital Portal

Pakistan’s new online Hajj portal has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 150,000 registrations as the government officially introduces digital payment options for Hajj 2027 duties.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced the achievement alongside the launch of a first-of-its-kind online payment facility through the 1LINK interbank network.

This digital shift eliminates the requirement for aspiring pilgrims to visit physical bank branches to deposit their dues.

“On the instructions of the prime minister, an online payment system for Hajj dues has been developed,” the Ministry stated, emphasizing that the portal has already recorded over 150,000 successful registrations.

The digital platform, created in partnership with the National Information Technology Board (NITB), streamlines the entire pilgrimage process from application to payment.

The ministry describes this surge in online registrations as a major step toward making Pakistan’s Hajj operation more convenient and transparent.

Through the 1LINK integration, pilgrims can now securely pay their dues from the comfort of their homes or from abroad if they are Overseas Pakistanis.

Applicants can also use the portal to track their application status in real-time. As Preparations for Hajj 2027 accelerate following the completion of the 2026 operations, the government continues to urge all interested citizens to register electronically through the portal to secure their chance for the pilgrimage.
