The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) has announced new career opportunities for engineering graduates across Pakistan, with applications invited for Junior Engineer (Electrical) posts.
According to the advertisement, NGC is hiring Junior Engineers equivalent to Grade 17 through the National Testing Service (NTS). A total of 78 vacancies have been announced under open merit, provincial quotas, women quota, minority quota, disability quota, Ex-FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and AJK quota.
Eligible candidates with a BE/BSc degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and valid PEC registration can apply online through NTS. The last date to submit applications is 20 July 2026.

Applicants must have a BE/BSc Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 1st Division or at least 2.5 CGPA from an HEC-recognized university.
Candidates must also have valid PEC registration. Those waiting for their final results are not eligible to apply.
The maximum age limit for applicants is 28 years on the closing date of the advertisement.
The vacancies have been distributed across different quotas, including Open Merit, Punjab, Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK, women, minorities, and disability quota.
Candidates applying under minority or disability quota will have to provide the relevant certificate from the concerned authority.
Interested candidates should apply online through the official National Testing Service (NTS) website at www.nts.org.pk.
After filling out the online application form, candidates must send the printed application form along with the prescribed fee challan to NTS Head Office, Plot No. 96, Street No. 4, H-8/1, Islamabad through courier or Pakistan Post.
The test fee is Rs. 650, which must be deposited according to the instructions given by NTS.
Photocopies of educational documents and experience certificates are not required at this stage.
