The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved an increase in the House Requisition Allowance for employees serving in the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Governor’s Secretariat from BPS-03 to BPS-22, effective July 1, 2026.
The enhancement was approved by the provincial cabinet during its meeting on June 19, 2026, and has been notified by the Finance Department.
Under the revised structure, employees will receive the following monthly House Requisition Allowance:

| BPS-17 to BPS-18 | Rs. 21,000 |
| BPS-19 | Rs. 28,000 |
| BPS-20 | Rs. 35,000 |
| BPS-21 | Rs. 42,000 |
| BPS-22 | Rs. 52,000 |
The revised allowance will apply to all eligible employees of the Civil Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Governor’s Secretariat.
The Finance Department has instructed the relevant authorities to implement the new rates from July 1, 2026, in line with the cabinet’s approval.
