A gas cylinder exploded in the Manfouha area of Saudi Arabia’s capital on Wednesday, killing five Pakistani nationals, according to reports.
All five victims were from Mansehra in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and authorities identified them as Muhammad Saeed, Abid Hussain, Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Safeer and Muhammad Rustam.
Reports said the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh expressed deep sorrow over the incident and remained in contact with Saudi police and other relevant authorities.
Officials said they will take the necessary steps for burial in Saudi Arabia or repatriation to Pakistan after legal formalities are completed. Aaj News and Samaa TV reported the development.
