NADRA’s Pak ID App Gets 2 New Features

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has rolled out version 5.6.6 of its Pak ID mobile app, introducing a new feature that allows users to preview their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) before submitting an application.

The update also expands digital civil registration services to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, making more government services available through the app.

The latest version adds a “View Card” feature that lets applicants see how their CNIC will appear before completing the application process. Users can review all personal information displayed on the card and, if they spot any errors, return to the relevant section to make corrections before submitting the application.

In another major development, NADRA has launched digital registration of births, deaths, marriages and divorces through the Pak ID app in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the first phase, the service is available across all village and neighborhood councils in Peshawar.

According to NADRA, the initiative will gradually expand to the rest of the province, allowing more citizens to register vital life events online without visiting registration offices. The authority has also invited users to share feedback and suggest new features they would like to see in future versions of the Pak ID app.
